Erica Manto Paulson is an Integrative Perinatal Specialist, Labor Doula, and Founder of Nurture, a boutique birth and wellness center serving Greater Cincinnati and beyond. Through Nurture, she brings evidence-based care and deeply personalized support together under one roof, with services spanning childbirth education, doulas, hypnobirthing, prenatal bonding, postpartum support, massage, yoga, and elective ultrasound services. Her work is also shaped by her own VBAC experience, which inspired the Birth with Ease philosophy and Doula-Friendly Hospital initiative, both focused on creating more empowering, equitable, and family-centered maternal care

“The first three months postpartum are often called the fourth trimester for a reason,” points out Erica Paulson, a certified doula, childbirth educator, and the founder of Nurture. “There is still a lot of growth happening during this time. Mentally and emotionally, parents are adjusting to a new identity while also responding to the constant needs of their baby.”
That said, Paulson encourages parents to redefine the word “routine” in a way that works best for their unique family.
